- Bazelon - national
legal advocate for people with mental disabilities. Probably one of
the most valuable resources out there if you or an ill family member
are dealing with the legal system.
- British Columbia Schizophrenia

- Consortium for Citizens
with Disabilities - a coalition of approximately 100 national disability
organizations
- The FORCE Society for
Kids Mental Health - Families Organized for Recognition, Care, and
Equality
- HeretoHelp
- A Canadian website that includes a wealth of downloadable coping information,
and resource/tool kits for managing day-to-day issues associated with
mental illness and/or substance abuse.
- International Center
for Clubhouse Development - good transitional housing options for
people with mental illness in a rehabilitation phase. They offer a smaller,
safe atmosphere with support programs for work, school, and housing.
Site includes an international directory of clubhouse organizations.

sections provide information for students, parents, and teachers/administrators
trying to cope with mental illness at school.

(Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program) - Based at the
UNC hospitals, this program has a webpage full of straightforward, practical,
easy-to-digest information.

Center - the place to go for state-by-state mental health laws,
